As believers grow in the Lord, this is a common question. How can you know? How does it feel to be called? With every decision and question, we should run to God's Word for the answer.

"What a novel idea!"

I know. We do claim the Bible is our authority for everything we believe and praxtice, so what does the Bible say? God clearly desires every believer to serve (Mark 10:45).

"No, no, I meant - does God want me to serve him full time as my vocation?"

Oh, I get it now! Of course He does!

"Really?! How can you be so sure?"

1 Corinthians 10:31 (Go ahead, look it up)

"That's not really what I was talking about."

Oh, I see. Maybe you were expecting to find an obscure verse in Revelation that gave your name and ministry assignment? Sorry, it's not there. I have to admit that would make it pretty easy though. God has not left you in the dark though.

"Great! Point me in the the right direction!"

Okay, your quest begins with desire. (1 Timothy 3:1) How would you like to serve? If you could do anything for the glory of God & the benefit of His church, what would it be?
